West Seattle Rape Case
The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has filed a second-degree rape case based out of West Seattle.
In this case, the defendant is accused of attacking a complete stranger at a bus stop in West Seattle. The defendant physically and sexually violated the victim before the victim was able to break free from the defendant. The defendant pursued the victim before forcibly raping the victim in a public space.
The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office asked that the defendant be held on $75,000. The judge agreed. He remains in the King County Jail.
We commend Seattle police for their quick response and apprehension of the defendant.
