Recent Drug Dealing Case Statistics
Drug possession cases — even cases of people using meth and heroin on the streets — have not been felony crimes since the State Supreme Court’s Blake decision in February 2021.
However, King County prosecutors are still charging drug dealers, most often fentanyl dealers.
KING COUNTY STATS (August through November)
Over the last four months (between August and November) King County prosecutors have filed 122 drug dealing charges overall, predominantly fentanyl.

SEATTLE SPECIFIC DRUG DEALING STATS (January through August)
Between January and August, King County prosecutors filed 79 drug dealing charges specifically in Seattle, predominantly fentanyl. Here are the breakdowns for two specific areas: 12th Ave. S. and S. Jackson St. and 3rd Ave. and Pike Street
17 of those 79 are at or near 12th Ave. S. and S. Jackson St.
