Murder Charge in 2011 Redmond Case

The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed a murder case against a California man for the November 2011 death of a Redmond woman.

King County prosecutors argued that the defendant should be held on $3 million bail.

Because the case has been filed, there was no first appearance hearing. (First appearance hearings typically happen when someone is arrested locally and before a case is referred to prosecutors by police.) As noted in the public documents, King County prosecutors will be seeking the defendant’s extradition to Washington to stand trial for this murder.

We appreciate the work of Redmond Police on this case.

The post is not expected to be updated moving forward.
