Below are new stories featuring the work of the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office from June 6 through June 14. Our office handles felony-level crimes — which are the more serious crimes committed in King County — while City Attorneys’ offices handle most misdemeanors. Each day, the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office files roughly 25 felony cases in King County, and we’re working hard to make sure the public and the media know about the work we’re doing to hold people who cause harm accountable.
