Felony Charges in Renton Case

Today, the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged a defendant in a Renton case with Robbery in the First Degree.

From the public charging documents:

“The defendant and an unknown suspect robbed both victims at gunpoint, terrifying them as the suspects robbed them of their vehicle and personal property. Further, a danger for the safety of the entire community was exhibited when the defendant first fled the scene of the robbery, fled from pursuing officers and then before being ultimately arrested, this defendant attempted to flee from law enforcement custody.”

As of this writing, the defendant remains in jail on $500,000 bail set by the court.

We appreciate the work of Renton Police on this investigation.
