Charges in Seattle Double Homicide Case

On April 2, the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged a defendant who was arrested Sunday in the South Seattle double homicide investigation, with:

  • 2 counts of Murder in the First Degree with firearm enhancements
  • 1 count of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the Second Degree

According to the public charging documents, which are based on evidence provided by police investigators, the defendant is alleged to have shot and killed two individuals in a crowded after hours lounge.

The defendant remains in jail on $5 million bail — the amount requested by the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and set by the Court after hearing from both sides.

Defendants are innocent until proven guilty in court.
