Charges in Seattle Case

In the last hour, charges were filed against the 12- and 13-year-old arrested by Seattle Police.

The 12-year-old is charged with:

• Robbery In The First Degree (Displays Deadly Weapon)
• Theft Of Motor Vehicle (Taking)
• Attempted Robbery In The First Degree (Displays Deadly Weapon)
• Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the Second Degree (Under 18)

The case number is 24–8–00328–4.

The 13-year-old is charged with:

• Robbery In The First Degree (Displays Deadly Weapon)
• Theft Of Motor Vehicle (Taking)
• Attempting To Elude A Pursuing Police Vehicle (Class C Felony)
• Attempted Robbery In The First Degree (Displays Deadly Weapon)
• Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the Second Degree (Under 18)

The case number is 24–8–00327–6.

As of this writing, both remain in juvenile detention.

These are the first cases involving either boy that were referred to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
