Charges in Beacon Hill Light Rail Assault Case

Today the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed charges this afternoon against the man accused in the Beacon Hill light rail case. The defendant was charged with:

  • Assault in the First Degree with a deadly weapon enhancement
  • Assault in the Second Degree
  • Assault in the Fourth Degree

This is the only case involving the defendant that’s been referred to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for a charging decision.

He remains in jail on the $1 million bail requested King County Prosecutors and set by the court.
