Organized Retail Theft In The First Degree

The two defendants stole approximately $7,000 worth of merchandise from Ulta Beauty in Bellevue. They were seen fleeing in a silver four door car without license plates. The KCPAO argued that both should be held in jail on $40,000 bail.

Assault in the Third Degree

The victim and his fiancé arrived at the Goodwill at 1400 South Lane St. in Seattle. The victim saw the defendant in the Goodwill parking lot and believed the defendant was attempting to illegally enter several vehicles within the parking lot. The victim told the defendant to stop car prowling and then entered the Goodwill to begin shopping. Later inside the store, the the defendant came up behind him, unprovoked, and hit him in the back of the head with a rock. The victim’s fiancé witnessed this incident and attempted to defend the victim. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center for his injuries. The victim’s injuries were detailed as a hemostatic right supraorbital laceration which required stitches. The victim told police when he was hit in the head the impact created a sound that was so loud and foreign to him it was startling
