Assault in The Second Degree

From the charging documents:

The defendant was weaving through traffic almost colliding with several cars. The defendant cut off the victim car in this case. When the defendant and victim car were side by side in traffic, the defendant pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victims. The defendant drove off and was later apprehended at the registered address associated with the suspect car. A gun matching the description of the gun described by the victims was later located in the home the defendant was apprehended in.

Arson in the Second Degree

From the charging documents:

The defendant accused the victim of stealing his wallet. In retaliation, the defendant entered the victim’s tent, which is really his home or dwelling, carrying a gas can. The victim heard the defendant proclaim an intent to burn the victim alive. Witnesses heard the defendant brag about being able to burn things down if he wanted to. The fire destroyed the victim’s tent and all his belongings inside. The fire also damaged a neighboring tent/structure which fortunately was not occupied at the time.
