Charge in Downtown Seattle Stabbing Case

This afternoon the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed an Assault in the First Degree charge against a man for the Monday evening stabbing in front of the Morrison Hotel in Seattle.

The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office asked a judge to hold Mr. Bickham on $500,000 bail.

The defendant in the case has a criminal history, though not all of his previous cases have been referred to our office. Two previous cases were referred to our office, the most recent from 2014. That case, 14–1–00744–9, led to a conviction and sentence for Reckless Burning in the First Degree. A 2004 case, 04–1–13835–0, led to a conviction and sentence in 2005 for Assault in the Fourth Degree.

His arraignment in the felony assault case filed today is scheduled for May 12.
