Burien Assault 3 Charge

The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged a woman with Assault in the Third Degree.

Police investigators say that on November 6 the defendant was seen by citizens speeding “at 100 MPH” in a Safeway parking lot. Later, she approached a Staple’s employee outside the business, jumped on the employee’s back and punched him in the kidney.

When an officer arrived on the scene and attempted to detain her, she resisted arrest and bit the deputy twice in the forearm.

Our office requested the defendant be held on bail, and a judge agreed, setting bail at $10,000.

Her arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Nov. 25.
