12 Robbery Charges Filed Against Single Defendant
The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has filed 12 counts of Robbery in the First Degree and one count of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the First Degree against a Seattle-based man who committed a series of armed robberies across King County.
According to the public charging documents, “the Defendant went on a two-month armed robbery spree, terrorizing twelve separate banks and stores. During each of the twelve robberies he was armed and threatened his victims. Specifically, On October 29, 2021, the Defendant returned to scene of the Unibank robbery and demanded reentry. Employees had locked the doors. The Defendant fired his gun three times to gain entry and retrieve evidence he had left behind. The Defendant was located, arrested, and a search of his hotel room uncovered a firearm. The Defendant was subsequently interviewed, and he confessed to all twelve robberies.”
In this case, our office requested the defendant be held on $500,000 bail and a judge agreed. He remains in custody.
