11 Theft Charges Filed Against Mercer Island Woman

The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has filed 11 charges of theft in the first degree against a Mercer Island woman.

The defendant, a former employee of Even Hotels, is accused of stealing more than $400,000 from the company over the period of April to July, 2019. According to police investigators, the individual used her corporate credit card at local casinos on multiple occasions to withdraw funds belonging to her former employer.

An arraignment is scheduled for December 10. This is the only case involving the woman that has been referred to our office.
